Indiana University LGBTQ+ Culture Center
IU's LGBTQ+ Culture Center is a vast organization with many resources for the IU community. The organization's main mission is act as a helping hand in the academic and personal development of IU's LGBTQ+ community. They have information on scholarship opportunities, mental health resources, changing your preferred name at IU, and everything in between.
Bloomington PRIDE Office
Bloomington PRIDE's goal is to "advocacy, outreach, educational workshops, safe-space programs, and arts and culture events." They also oversee two different community programs: Rainbow Elders which gives support to the aging community and Trans & Allies Support Community which is a peer-led group in support of the transgender and nonbinary community.
Gender Diverse and Queer Clinic
The Gender Diverse and Queer Clinic is specifically for LGBTQ+ healthcare in Bloomington to detour from any discrimination. The services include primary care, mental health care, and testing for sexually-transmitted diseases and infections. The clinic hours are determined by demand and volunteer availability, so call 317-721-3389 to get scheduled.
Indiana University LGBTQ+ Alumni Association
The IU LGBTQ+ Alumni Association is an IU alumni organization whos goal is to improve the quality of life for LGBTQ+ students, faculty, staff, and alumni of all eight of IU's campuses.
- Queer Philanthropy Circle recruits and funds LGBTQ+ students through a partnership with the IU Foundation.
- IU Queer Student Union: A safe space by queer students, for queer students. You can find more information on their Instagram @qsuiu.
